Our Editorial Standards
ResourceHelpHub exists to help veterans, service members, and their dependents understand the benefits they’ve earned — not to sign them up for a paid consultation, a loan, or an annuity. This page explains how we create, source, and review our content so you know what stands behind every article.
Who writes and reviews our content
Articles are researched and written by the ResourceHelpHub Editorial Team and reviewed for accuracy and sourcing by Steven Sun, founder of Bright Horizons Media, before they are published. We are a publisher, not a VA-accredited attorney, claims agent, or lender; our articles are informational and are not a substitute for professional advice or an accredited Veterans Service Officer.
How we source facts
Every eligibility rule, dollar figure, and rating detail we cite is drawn from a primary source — VA.gov, the Social Security Administration, or the relevant federal statute — and linked inline so you can verify it yourself. When we cite a number, we cite where it came from, and we re-check pension and compensation rates before republishing since they change with an annual cost-of-living adjustment.
How we add value
Most content in this space comes from law firms, claims consultants, or lenders whose business model depends on you hiring them or borrowing from them. We have nothing to sell you here: no consultation booking, no loan application, no annuity pitch. We aim to give you the same facts, sourced directly from VA.gov, without the funnel.
Accuracy, dating, and corrections
VA pension, compensation, and loan figures change every year, so each article shows when it was last updated, and we revise articles when the underlying facts change. If you spot an error, tell us through our contact page and we will review and correct it.
Advertising and affiliate relationships
We never imply a disability rating outcome or guarantee claim approval. Articles about VA and federal benefit programs never carry a commercial link. Where an unrelated financial product is mentioned and an affiliate link is present, it’s disclosed on the article, and it never changes our editorial judgment.
